Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are magically transported, through the power of storytelling, to your venue to share four of their most beloved tales: Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood,
and The Fisherman and his Wife.

Over the course of this 50 minute production, audience members will learn valuable lessons about living a grateful life, looking out for one another, and following directions to stay safe. Along the way, the Brothers Grimm will explain how stories can travel across time through the power of Oral Tradition.
The sometimes scary endings of the original stories are retold in a way that is appropriate for today's children, but maintains the integrity of the source material. As Wilhelm Grimm explains to the audience,  "Sometimes the details change to fit the time in which they are being told."

Developed by both Arts and Education professionals, The Brothers Grimm is designed to provide you with a Goals and Standards focused program which will provide enrichment for your Literature and Social Studies lessons. A complete teacher resource packet will provide you with background material, as well as student activities, to ensure that instructional time is being supplemented, and not simply spent.
