Betsy started working in the theatre at the tender age of 5 in her church’s Christmas
pageant as the littlest angel in the angel chorus. From there she branched
out and started taking drama classes and acting in community and school
productions. Her love of theatre took her to Illinois State University where
she earned a degree in Theatre in May 2003. While at ISU, Betsy acted,
stage managed, and worked on numerous productions. She also worked for
the Illinois Shakespeare Festival before moving to Chicago to pursue her career
in Theatre Management. Betsy is the Customer Services Director at Theatre
Building Chicago and has stage managed many readings and productions for TBC.
When Betsy is not at work, she spends her time reading, writing, taking
pictures and playing percussion. |
